Joint membership page

Thanks to an agreement signed with the Società Botanica Italiana, it has become possible to pay the Membership dues for both associations – SBI and OPTIMA – with a single money transfer, and at the same time to benefit by a discount: the combined membership costs 97,50 euros instead of 105 (25 and 80 euros, respectively).
By this agreement, both associations hope to attract additional members, the incentive being procedural simplification (single payment needed) and a rebate.
Please note that the SBI fee includes free online subscription to the journals “Italian botanist” and “Notiziario della Società Botanica Italiana”. The other journal of the SBI, “Plant Biosystems”, can be subscribed to at a special membership rate (currently 33 euro), to be paid separately in addition. The OPTIMA Membership benefits are unchanged.
If you are not yet a Member of the SBI, the OPTIMA team in Palermo will take the necessary steps for enrolling you, upon receipt of your payments.  

The current membership rates are:

OPTIMA Ordinary + SBI: 97.50 €
OPTIMA Ordinary + SBI + Plant Biosystems: 130.50 €

  Payments can be made in one of the following ways:

• International bank cheque or Eurocheque sent to OPTIMA Secretariat in Palermo.

  Please, make sure your name is clearly written on your payment. Advance payment for two or more years, are accepted. Proformainvoices (also for life membership) and receipts of payment will be sent upon request.
