Dear Colleagues,

We invite you to join us in Selinunte in from 28th to 30th June 2018 to participate to the International Symposium “Botany at the intersection of Nature, Culture, Art and Science”. The aim is to explore the fascinating polyhedral role of botany in the human life and meet together scientists, scholars and artists bringing their work and experience. Participation of botanists from European and extra-European countries is ensured.

The scenario of the Archaeological Park of Selinunte (SW Sicily) represents the ideal setting that combines nature with arts and human culture, and perfectly communicates the purposes of the Symposium, which will be both pleasant and scientifically rewarding. Come and take back with you an unforgettable memory. Southern Sicily with its unequalled natural and cultural riches and traditional hospitality is awaiting you.
