Dear Colleagues,
We invite you to join us in Palermo to participate to the International Symposium “50 YEARS OF OPTIMA AND 30 YEARS OF FLORA MEDITERRANEA AND BOCCONEA, International collaboration and ongoing projects on floras and taxonomy in European and Mediterranean countries” was held in Palermo from 27th to 28th June 2025. The event had 30 participants in person and 30 online. The aim of this symposium was to explore what is going-on in the Euro-Mediterranean area regarding plant taxonomy and flora with specific examples from different countries.

The Symposium took place in Palermo at Palazzo Branciforte, Largo Gae Aulenti, 2, and online, from 27th June at 15:30 to 28th June at 12.30.
