Med-Checklist
Med-Checklist is a critical, synonymic checklist of genera, species and subspecies present in the Mediterranean area, with country-by-country distributions. It has provided a nomenclatural standard for many other works.
Volumes 1, 3 and 4 (1984-1989) were published jointly by the Conservatoire et Jardin Botaniques de la Ville de Genève and the Botanischer Garten & Botanisches Museum Berlin-Dahlem, under the auspices of OPTIMA. After a lengthy interruption, vol. 2, entirely devoted to the Compositae family, is now in preparation.
The extant volumes are still available. They are to be ordered from the
Conservatoire Botanique in Geneva. A
