We invite you to join us in Selinunte in from 28th to 30th June 2018 to participate to the International Symposium “Botany at the intersection of Nature, Culture, Art and Science”. The aim is to explore the fascinating polyhedral role of botany in the human life and meet together scientists, scholars and artists bringing their work and experience. Participation of botanists from European and extra-European countries is ensured.
The scenario of the Archaeological Park of Selinunte (SW Sicily) represents the ideal setting that combines nature with arts and human culture, and perfectly communicates the purposes of the Symposium, which will be both pleasant and scientifically rewarding. The Symposium took place in the Archaeological Park of Selinunte (South Sicily), from 28th June at 17:00 to 30th June at 13.30.

Book of Abstracts: The Book of abstracts is available here.
Book of Proceedings: Publication of scientific contributions will be subject to fast-line peer review and will be performed online in the electronic edition of the journal Flora Mediterranea. Each extended contribution, poster presentations included, will be published individually as soon as it is ready, with its own DOI.
Subsequent publication of a consolidated print version is also planned.
